GREENBUSH – Virginia M. Bubar, 69, passed away peacefully July 29, 2009, with family by her side. Virginia was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Brentwood, N.H., to her parents, Joseph and Doris Flood. Virginia attended local schools in Brentwood, N.H., until moving to Berwick, where she spent two years at Noble High School. She obtained employment at a local shoe factory, where she met her husband of 54 years, George L. Bubar. In addition to her employment at the shoe factory, she also worked at various nursing homes, and before retirement she spent a number of years at Labree’s Bakery, Old Town. She was predeceased by her parents; and her son, Joseph Bubar. She is survived by her loving husband, George Bubar; and her four children, Marie and her husband, Nasser Raissiaduh and their children, Reza, Rhyem, Rana and Roya, of Sirjan, Iran, George Bubar Jr. and his wife, Karen and their two children, Nancy and Kimberly, of Greenbush and George’s son, Chris Farrell and his wife, Sam, of Waterville, Dale Jean and her husband, Robert and their daughter, Trysha, of Greenbush and Pamela Quinn and her two children, Tonya and Deseree, of New Hampshire. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Romina and Keagan; and her very best friend, Pricilla Gammon. Family and friends may call for a celebration of Virginia’s life 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Birmingham Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
