DEXTER – Maynard Forest Woodbury, 81, died Aug. 6, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born June 21, 1928, in Etna, a son of William and Hannah (Curtis) Woodbury. Maynard worked in Massachusetts for many years, returned to Maine in the early 1970s, and retired from Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna. He is survived by two stepsons, Clifford Larrabee of Dexter and Bertram Larrabee of St. Albans; a stepdaughter, Janice Giles of Garland; and a brother, William Woodbury of Dexter. He is also survived by two daughters, Beverly Simms of Charleston and Sharon Tourtellotte of Putnam, Conn.; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral and committal services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
