GUILFORD – Norma B. Davis, 84, died Aug. 8, 2009, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Pittsfield, daughter of Charles and Melba (Neal) Shaw. Norma worked at the Ben Franklin Store, Guilford, for several years. She enjoyed crocheting and attending fairs with her husband and his horses. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry and Nancy Glidden, Diana Libby, and Patricia and David Beach, all of Parkman; two sisters, Donna Friend of Newport and Lucille Mooers of Waterville; five grandchildren, Paul, Peter, Pamela, Lori and Charles; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Davis; a granddaughter, Norma Jean; a great-grandson, Wayne; two brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Lawn Cemetery, Guilford, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating.
