WINTERPORT – Marjorie Grace (Colson) Dunham, 78, passed away Aug. 10, 2009, while at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born Nov. 11, 1930, in Winterport, the daughter of Aubrey and Myra (Knight) Colson. Marjorie attended Winterport schools and was a graduate of Higgins Classical Institute, Class of 1948; and Beal Business College, Class of 1949. She was employed by several moving companies in Bangor. Marjorie married Claude Dunham, in 1950. In later years she was self-employed in the sand and gravel business in Winterport. She was a former member of Eastern Star Grange and American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 138, both of Winterport. Marjorie is survived by her children, Diane Hussey and husband, Wayne, David Dunham, Debra Fratini and husband, James, and Denise Hardy, all of Winterport; grandchildren, Tami Thibodeau and Michael Hussey of Winterport, Stevie McGary of Dedham, Jessica Dunham of New York City, and Zachary and Brooke Hardy of Winterport; two great-granddaughters, Alyissa and Miranda Thibodeau of Winterport; one brother, Charles Colson of Brewer; and a special friend, Patricia Haverly-Johndro. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude, in 1970; her parents; and a brother, Alfred Colson, in 1978. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
