AMITY – Peter H. London, 57, died Aug. 15, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1952, in Houlton, son of Lee and Frances (St. Peter) London. Peter was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Church. He worked as a local carpenter until going to work in the woods, where he started out working with a team of horses. He had a special love of the woods and when he wasn’t working he could be found hunting or fishing, which he enjoyed with family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Clary and her husband, Brandon and daughter, Abigail; one sister, Linda Hebert and her husband, Jim; two nephews, Christian and his wife, Vickie and their children, Tristan, Tanner and Gabrielle, and Chad and his wife, Jennifer and their children, Madelyn and Taylor; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents. Peter will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many close family and friends. Peter’s family expresses a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Houlton Regional Hospital for their kindness and care. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
