DANVERS, Mass. – Raymond J. DeFabio, 83, husband of the late Joanne (Lauritsen) DeFabio, died Aug. 16, 2009. He is survived by his children, Barbara DeFabio of Peabody, Mass., Jill Akerman and her husband, Christopher, of Danvers, Mass., and Duane DeFabio of Georgia; two grandchildren, Adam and Connor Akerman; many nieces and nephews, and a loving extended family. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Becker. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Saint Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers, Mass. Burial will be at Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are 4-8 p.m. Thursday at C.R.
