BELFAST – Carolyn (Clements) Davis, 94, passed away Aug. 19, 2009, in Belfast. She was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Waldo, the daughter of Robert and Maggie (Mitchell) Clements. Carolyn was very family oriented and will be remembered for the wonderful cooking that she did for them. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Sherman Davis Sr.; daughter, Berdena Seekins; son, Sherman Davis Jr.; and three siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Jean Lawler of Belfast, and Rhonda Scribner and husband, Sumner, of Belfast; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Aug. 21 at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.
