ST. FRANCIS – Pauline C. (Taggett) Ouellette, 74, died Aug. 28, 2009, at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born Aug. 31, 1934, in St. Francis, the daughter of Frank and Matilda (Michaud) Taggett. She worked for Northland Frozen Food, Fort Kent, for many years. Pauline and Fernand were married Nov. 6, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fernand Ouellette of St. John Plantation; her children, Michael Ouellette of Fort Kent, Jeffrey Ouellette and his wife, Kim, of St. Francis, Rodney Ouellette and his wife, Vicky, of St. John, Carolyn Pelletier and her husband, Michael, of Fort Kent and Bill Ouellette and his wife, Tara, of Buxton; her grandchildren, Kelsie, Darcy, Bradley, Ashley, Gina, Courtney, Marissa, Sherrie, Patrick and Liz; two stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Timmy; five great-grandchildren, Rylee, Tessa, Shelby, Wyatt and Trevor; five brothers, Ronald, Clyde, Dale and Carol Taggett, all of St. Francis and Sheldon Taggett of Bristol, Conn.; six sisters, Madeline Michaud of St. John, Monicque Berube of St. Francis, Albertine Martin of Fort Kent, Gene Jandreau of Madawaska, Annabelle Bourgoin of Bristol, Conn., and Lynn West of Bristol, Conn.; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Sherry Ouellette; and one brother, Martin Taggett. Family and friends are asked to gather for a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. A committal service will be afterward at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, St. Francis. Those who wish may donate in her memory to Edgar J. Arrangements are being conducted by Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
