Bowden of Searsport and Florida. He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Ernestine “Tina” Ames; and two brothers, James Bowden and Fred “Bud” Bowden. It was Carroll’s wish that family and friends attend a celebration of his life 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at his residence, 214 Town Farm Road, Bucksport. The family will be providing a basket to collect any written memories people would like to share. Carroll attended Bucksport Church of God, and those who wish may give a donation to his church or to their favorite charity in his memory.
