ORRINGTON and HUDSON – Ralph Theophilus Mallory Jr., 68, formerly of Hudson, died Sept. 8, 2009, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his daughter, Samantha, in Orrington. He was born March 9, 1941, in Bangor, the son of Ralph Theophilus and Octavia Louise (Dobbins) Mallory Sr. Ralph was an avid hunter who enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Active in Masonry, he was a member and past master of St. Andrews Lodge No. 83, AF & AM of Bangor, a past high priest of Moriah Royal Arch Chapter, past illustrious master of Bangor Council, past commander of St. John’s Commandery, a member of Past Officers Association, Katahdin York Rite College and Order of the High Priesthood, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor, Maine Consistory 32nd degree and Anah Shriners. Surviving are three daughters, Stephanie Winship and her husband, Neal, of Brewer, Samantha Gordon and her husband, Terry, of Orrington and Sabrina Rhea Bubier of Brewer; seven grandchildren, Sydney, Garrett, Levi, Erica, Mallory, Kyle and Katie; and many friends. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, conducted by the officers and members of St. Andrews Lodge.
