LIMESTONE – Alfreda Evan-geline Dionne, 73, wife of the late Albert Dionne, died Sept. 16, 2009, in Caribou, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 31, 1936, in St. Agatha, the daughter of the late Alfred and Estelle (LeClerc) Dube. Mrs. Dionne was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was employed at Mecon, Caribou, for a number of years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Philip Dionne and his fiancee, Pauline McHatten, Albert and Laurie Dionne and John and Lisa Dionne, all of Caribou and Danny Dionne of Westbrook; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Diane Dionne and Pauline and Clifford King, all of Limestone, Jean and Bob Corey of Presque Isle and Tammie and Bob Guth of Connellsville, Pa.; three brothers, Guy Dube of Lewiston, Alfred Dube and his wife, Jeannette, of Swansea, Mass., and John Paul Dube of East Hartford, Conn.; six sisters, Odile Earl and Ann Marie Dube, both of St. Agatha, Mathilda Sirois and her husband, Paul, of Kissimmee, Fla., Pauline Page and her husband, Claude, of Vernon, Conn., Stella Hayden and her husband, William, of Whitman, Mass., and Adeline Griffin of East Hartford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Scott and Gloria Dionne, Penny Jackson, Ryan and Amanda Dionne, Theresa, Ashley and April King, Johnathan and Elizabeth Dionne, Justin and Braydon Guth, Kristen, Ryan and Jason Corey; seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dionne was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 2001. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Aaron Damboise officiating. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery.
