FORT FAIRFIELD – Scott S. Sirois, 43, husband of Lisa (Levesque) Sirois, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 25, 1966, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Linda L. (Cyr) and Gary B. Sirois Sr. He was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1984, and also obtained a bachelor’s degree in agra business and resource economics from the University of Maine, Orono, in 1990. Scott was a communicant of Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield; was a very active and dedicated fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 1753, Fort Fairfield; and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Scott married Lisa A. Levesque, Aug. 5, 1988, and was employed as a field agent for Knights of Columbus Life Insurance Co. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lisa L. Sirois; two daughters, Chelsea Lee Sirois and Jordan Elizabeth Sirois; his parents, Linda L. and Gary B. Sirois Sr.; one brother, Gary B. “Sonny” Sirois Jr. and his wife, Amy, all of Fort Fairfield; and two sisters, Sherrie Davenport and her husband, Jeff, of Westminister, Mass., and Christine Rae Helstrom and her husband, Jon, of Fort Fairfield. He will also be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his special nieces, nephews and godchildren. In keeping with the family’s wishes, calling hours and the vigil service will be private for the family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main St., Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, celebrant. Private interment will be held at a later date at St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Scott to his children for the purpose of developing a college education fund, care of Mrs. Lisa L. Sirois, 150 Currier Road, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742. Envelopes will be available at the funeral Mass. Arrangements have been entrusted to Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
