CASTLE HILL – Danna Mae Johnson, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sept. 24, 2009, in Presque Isle. She was born Aug. 6, 1948, in Caribou, the daughter of the late Daniel and Juanita (Kierstead) Kelly. Danna was a 1966 graduate of Caribou High School and married Melvin Johnson, Aug. 12, 1966. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of more than 43 years, Melvin of Castle Hill, are her son and daughter-in-law, James and Jeannie Johnson of Crouseville; her daughter, Tina Marie St. John of Mars Hill; her sister and brother-in-law, Wilza and John Robertson of Portage Lake; two grandchildren, Shauna Mae and Katelyn Carr; two sisters-in-law, Diane Coffin of Texas and Helen Rideout of Auburn; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special cousin, Anneke Kierstead of Warwick, R.I. A celebration of Danna’s life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at her home, 584 Haystack Road, Castle Hill. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
