PALMYRA – Scott N. Reed, 37, died unexpectedly Sept. 24, 2009. He was born Nov. 28, 1971, in Augusta, a son of Norman Meader and Ethel Reed. He graduated from Livermore Falls High School. He was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Walmart, Bangor. He also owned and operated Scott’s Odd Jobs from his home in Palmyra. Scott was a hard worker and good provider. He was an outdoorsman and liked his John Deere tractors. He is survived by his father of Canton; his mother of Livermore Falls; his wife, Nichole (Walker) Reed; and son, Jack Reed, both of Palmyra. He was like a father to Devin Meader of Chesterville. Graveside committal services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Palmyra Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
