OWLS HEAD – George A. Stevens, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, surrounded by his family at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Rockport, after a brief illness. A gathering of remembrance will be held 6-8 p.m. with a brief celebration of his life to be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland.
