ALLEN Oct. 8, 1953 – Sept. 30, 2008 A year ago today you quietly slipped away, while I held you in my arms and prayed for you to stay; for some unforeseen reason you left us all behind, it’s a day we’ll never forget, as you’re always on our minds. You see you had a way about you that touched so many lives, and as we walk the halls of Mayo, your presence is still alive. You blessed this community with your grace, a legend in itself that can’t be erased, you were devote and loyal until the end, always a true and dedicated friend. Your humor is something we treasure, your wit could not be measured, there are so many things we miss about you, and it’s hard to imagine continuing on without you. You were the best husband, son and mentor that anyone could ever hope for, and no matter how hard we all try, we’ll never be able to tell you goodbye. We all really miss you so, it’s hard to believe you had go, you’ll forever remain in our hearts for there’s nothing that can keep us apart. So as you watch over us all from above, may you smile and know how much you are loved, until we meet again, may you have peace within, our friend. Forever loved and remembered by all.
