HOULTON – Pearl Ruth, 87, died Oct. 1, 2009, in Houlton. She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Libby) Harris. She is survived by one son, Wendell “Butch” Ruth of Bristol, Conn.; one daughter, Joyce Miller of Houlton; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and 11 siblings, Ray, Doris, Chester, Lois, Walter, Mary, Iva, Vivian, Burrell, Patricia and Sandra. A graveside funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at Linneus Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
