MILFORD – Maysie J. (Hobbs) Bouchard, 68, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 2, 2009, with her loving family by her side at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 7, 1941, in West Enfield, daughter of Myron F. Hobbs Sr. and Sarah F. (Welch) Hobbs. A 1959 graduate of Howland High School, Maysie was dedicated to family and home. She volunteered for the Milford Teen Center and Milford Recreation Committee for a number of years. She enjoyed craft making of all kinds, especially crocheting and knitting. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ralph Bouchard Sr. of Milford; children, Dawn Little and husband, David, of Newburgh and Skip Bouchard of Portland; a sister, Sonja R. (Hobbs) Leighton of Bangor; a special niece and nephew and their children, Wayde and Sue Leighton; special friends, Judy Huston and Janice Stevens; several other nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her father she was predeceased by a brother, Myron “Butch” Hobbs Jr. Private graveside services will be held at Milford Cemetery, Milford.
