BANGOR – Diane E. Emple, 72, died Oct. 20, 2009, at a local health care facility. She was born March 15, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of William and Lillian (Rudman) Emple. She is survived by her brother, Arthur of Hermon. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Steven Schwarzman officiating. Interment will be at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
