RIDGEWAY, Va. – Thelma Louise Giggey, 78, of 157 Lilly Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Martinsville, Va. She was born June 6, 1931, in Eddington, daughter of the late Adelbert R. Clewley and Margaret A. Grant Clewley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Frederick Wright; her second husband, Fred Giggey; a son, Adelbert Wright; two sisters, Dora Floyd and Bertha Manzo; and one brother, Raymond Clewley. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Bailey of Ridgeway, Va.; four sisters, Phyllis Gill of Pennsylvania, Merry Baker, Hazel Ouellette and Doris Lovely, all of Maine; one brother, Lawrence Clewley of Maine; three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one great-great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be held at Pinetree Cemetery, Eddington. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, Martinsville, Va., is serving the Giggey family.
