EDDINGTON – Vivian Ellen Knox, 77, wife of the late George “Bub” Knox, died unexpectedly Oct. 22, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Philip H. and Joanna M. (Young) Gusha. She was formerly employed at Zayre and Ames department stores. Vivian’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors with her husband, “Bub.” Surviving are three children, Ann Kent and her husband, Ralph, Rodney Knox and his wife, Sandy, and Anita Rogers and her husband, Raymond, all of Eddington; seven grandchildren, Laurie Easton, Lisa Wallace, Rodney Knox Jr., Jennifer Yanofsky, Christopher Knox, Ryan Rogers and Ronnie Rogers; two great-grandchildren, Amy and Ian; a special niece, Nancy; cousin, Bernard; and her treasured pet, Angel. She was predeceased by a son, Leroy Knox. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Meadowbrook Cemetery, Route 9, Eddington, with the Rev. Dr. Tracy Reeves, pastor of North Brewer East Eddington United Methodist Church, officiating.
