MACHIASPORT – Daryl Albert Cline, 41, died unexpectedly Oct. 21, 2009, doing what he loved – working on the water. He was born Sept. 17, 1968, in Machias, the son of David and Joyce (Davidson) Cline. Daryl loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, being with his dog, Shadow, and snowmobiling. He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his children, Jared Cline and Alyssa Gay; his fiancee, Karen Hicks and children, Cameron and Shelby Reed; parents, David J. and Joyce M. (Davidson) Cline; a brother, David and wife, Laurie; two special nieces, Katie Brooks and her husband, Adam, and Karie Cline; two special great-nieces, Makenzi Brooks and Makenna Brooks; special uncles and aunts and their children, Rita Roberts and David Wallace and children, Bobbi-Jo and Bryan, Wayne Dennison and wife, Laura and daughter, Angela, Benjamin and Mary Ann Crocker, Fred Davidson and Albert Davidson; as well as many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and many special friends. Daryl’s family would like to remember Norman Johnson and Joseph Jones, and to keep their families in their thoughts and prayers. At the family’s request, to honor Daryl’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Daryl in a special way may make donations in his memory to the Fisherman Lost at Sea Memorial, Town of Lubec, Lubec, ME 04652. Arrangements are in care of McClure Family Funeral Services, Lubec.
