PORTLAND – David Thombs, 70, passed away Oct. 17, 2009, with his wife and children by his side. He was born in Greenville, son of Norman “Tubby” and Gladys Thombs. A celebration of his life will be 2-4 p.m. Oct. 25 at McKernan Hospitality Center, 122 McKernan Drive, South Portland.
