OLD TOWN – Dorothy A. (Damboise) Bassingthwaite, 54, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. She was born March 11, 1955, the daughter of Alma (Damboise) Ouellette. In addition to her mother, Dorothy is survived by her son, Gary Heinrichs and his fiancee, Deborah Belmonte; her grandchildren, Brittany Paige Heinrichs and Anthony Mongillo; her four brothers, Lester Ouellette, Daniel Ouellette and his wife, Elaine, Gerald Ouellette and his wife, Pauline, and Clayton Ouellette and his wife, Pauline E.; her sister, Brenda Sufin; and her nieces and nephews, Farrah Rich, Tiffany Ouellette, Sarah Ouellette, Joshua Ouellette, Grace Ouellette, Tyler Baker, Samantha Ouellette, Emilee Ouellette and her godson/ nephew, Joseph Sufin II. She is also survived by her close and dear friend, Dee Mitchell. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
