MONTICELLO – Nettie Hare died Oct. 24, 2009, with her family at her side, at her home. She was born in Perry, the daughter of Daniel and Marjorie McPhail. Nettie was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her hobbies were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie and her husband, Ted Peterson, of Monticello and Linda Henderson of Auburn; three grandchildren, Annette Williams and her fiancee, Al Bernier, of Ringe, N.H., Dixie and her husband, Bret DeLong, of Blaine and T.J. and Cindy Peterson of Monticello; seven great-grandchildren, Dustin and Will DeLong, Erin, Cam and Chase Williams, and Emma and Mariah Peterson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gene. The family thanks Doris Sargent and Janet Rockwell for their care and compassion. A private graveside funeral service will be held at Jewell Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Straubel officiating.
