ORRINGTON – Shirley B. Hurd, 81, died Oct. 26, 2009, at her home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
