SUNDERLAND, England, and BANGOR – Pete Morin-Smith, 50, died Oct. 19, 2009, at his home. Pete was born in Sunderland, England, and came to America when he married the mother of his children. He graduated from Bristol Polytechnic and Husson College. He worked in various businesses, including Maine Indian Education, Penobscot Valley Hospital, Taylor Hospital, Bar Harbor Inn, Striar Woolen Mills and Commonsence Housing. He was a past member of Anah Temple Shrine; mini bikes and Masonic Hall of Bangor. He is survived by his three sons, Andrew, Marcus and Michael, all of Bangor; and his father, Fred of Sunderland, England. A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at St. Mary’s Parish, Ohio Street, Bangor, with a reception afterward in the parish hall. All are welcome.
