CARIBOU – Helen M. Bomaster, 87, died Oct. 29, 2009, in Presque Isle. She was born July 27, 1922, in Caribou, daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Kelley) Bubar. Mrs. Bomaster was employed by Birds Eye Division of General Foods, as well as Potato Service for a number of years. She attended Caribou United Baptist Church and was a volunteer at Nylander Museum. She was also a member of Cary Seniority Program. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Waggener of Fryeburg and Sally Bomaster of Bridgewater; one sister, Ina Chomka of Cumberland, R.I.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bomaster was predeceased by her husband, Blanchard Bomaster in 1978; a son, Herman Earl Bomaster; a daughter, Patricia Wilson; and two granddaughters, Cindy and Lynda Wilson. A private graveside service will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
