MADAWASKA and FORT KENT – Cecile (Gorneault) Bouchard, 85, died peacefully Nov. 1, 2009, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Canada, the daughter of Maxime and Eva (Bard) Gorneault. Cecile worked in housekeeping at Forest Hill Manor, Fort Kent, for many years. She is survived by her sister, Agenlia Saucier of Packington, Quebec; one sister-in-law, Robertine Gorneault of New Britain, Conn.; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Bouchard, Oct. 23, 1975; and siblings, Anita Plourde, Theresa Caron, Eddie Gorneault, Valeda Blanchette, Wilfred and Rene Gorneault. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be in the parish cemetery.
