WINTERPORT – Brenda Jean (Quimby) Ronco, 55, wife of Roderick E. Ronco Sr., passed away Nov. 3, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1954, in Bangor, the daughter of the late Wendall and Jeannette (Harnish) Quimby. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Winterport and worked for St. Joseph Hospital for many years in the laundry department. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her pets. Brenda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and co-worker. Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Rod; daughter, Hope and her children, Sage and Wyatt of Winterport, whom Brenda adored and enjoyed much time with; stepson, Roderick Jr. of Bangor and his children, Austin of Machias, and Jordan, Olivia and Sidney, all of Bangor; sisters and brothers, Nancy Moore, Roger Quimby and wife, Natalie, Judy Clark and husband, Stephen, Wayne Quimby and wife, Sharon, Gerry Littlefield and husband, Gilman, Jeff Quimby and wife, Dawn, all of Winterport; aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Friday at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Roland P.
