PATTEN – Beulah H. Goodall, 94, died Nov. 4, 2009, in Patten. She was born June 24, 1915, in Linneus, the fourth daughter of eight children born to William and Evelyn (Tardy) Emmett. She grew up in Island Falls and Crystal. She married the love of her life, Gerald C. Goodall, Oct. 3, 1931. Gerald and Beulah raised their five children in Oakfield. They were married nearly 62 years when, in 1993, Gerald journeyed to his home in heaven. For the past 15 years, Beulah resided in Patten. She attended Crystal Wesleyan Church where she had many friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and loved the Lord and followed his teachings. She is survived by three of her children, Mildred Speck of Concord, Calif., Vaughn Goodall of Fredericksburg, Va., and Vern Goodall of Littlestown, Pa. She also leaves behind four loving daughters-in-law; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Oakley, in 2006, and Quinton, in 2009; one grandson, Dan Goodall, in 2007; and son-in-law, David Speck, in 2008. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Crystal Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Peter Main officiating.
