VAN BUREN – Joan M. Michaud, 62, died unexpectedly Nov. 4, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1947, in Van Buren, the daughter of Alphy and Mamie (Gagnon) St. Pierre. Joan was educated in local schools and was a 1965 graduate of Van Buren District High School. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Madore and her husband, Chad, of San Angelo, Texas, and Amy Jandreau and her husband, Rod, of Mapleton; one brother, Alphy St. Pierre and his wife, Elaine, of Crossville, Tenn.; three sisters, Patricia James and her husband, George, of Limestone, Nancy Chasse and her husband, Wallace, of Mapleton, and Rachel Levesque and her husband, Gene, of Van Buren; and three grandchildren, Miranda, Gabrielle and Eli Jandreau. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Melvin St. Pierre; and by a sister, Linda St. Pierre. Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be at the parish cemetery.
