SURRY – David E. Hooper, 56, died Nov. 6, 2009, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. He was born March 17, 1953, in Blue Hill, the son of Donald T. and Jeanette J. (Ingalls) Hooper. David was a very loving and compassionate person. He especially enjoyed games, music and watching television. He is survived by his mother, Joy Small and his stepfather, Bud Small, of Surry; one sister, Jane Blethen and her husband, Scott, of Surry; three stepsisters, Vicky Small of Oregon, Mary Small and her husband, John Paysinger, of California, and Helen Small of Brewer; one stepbrother, Richard Small of New Mexico; his uncle, Alvin Ingalls and his wife, Doris, of Frankfort; aunt, Charlotte and her husband, Al Eastman, of Bucksport; and his favorite nephew, Josh Rosenthal of Brewer. Private graveside services will be held at Village Cemetery, Surry, with Jerry Stone officiating. Gifts in David’s memory may be made to Community Church of Christ, P.O.
