CARIBOU – Corinne Marie Nadeau, 83, died Nov. 5, 2009, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Caribou, daughter of Joseph and Beatrice (St. Peter) Nadeau. Corinne was educated in the Caribou school system and was employed by Edward and Emilia Corey for several years. She was also employed at Birdseye and Mecon. She was a member of Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was also a member of Daughters of Isabella and Ladies of St. Anne. At one point she was a member of Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. She is survived by five sisters, Irene Hess of Hilltop, N.J., Phyllis Steward of West Plains, Mo., Dolores Higgins of Biddeford, Arlene Nadeau of Kansas City, Mo., and Charlene Burgay of Caribou; by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Francis and Reginald Nadeau; and by four sisters, Theresa Phillips, Shirley Rayner, Viola Cyr and Joanne Nadeau. Friends may call noon until the time of services Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Corinne’s nephews, Father James Nadeau and Father Timothy Nadeau, co-officiating.
