MACHIAS and HOULTON – R. Bruce Robinson, 61, passed away Nov. 9, 2009, at a Machias hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1947, in Houlton, son of Joseph E. and E. Lorraine (Kimball) Robinson. Bruce graduated from Houlton High School and joined the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era. He served three years, five-plus months before he became ill and was honorably discharged. He was very proud to be a Marine and was a dear son. Bruce is survived by his parents; his sister, Marcia J. Homchuck; a niece, Melanie Lynn Cebula; and several cousins. A private family remembrance and interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
