BANGOR – Patricia Synan Lucey, 85, a San Francisco resident for 35 years, died Nov. 9, 2009, in Bangor of Alzheimer’s. She was born in Cranston, R.I., and attended the public schools in Yonkers, N.Y. Patty graduated from San Francisco State University and earned a doctorate in law at Hastings College of the Law. She became a deputy district attorney in Contra Costa County and an assistant commissioner of San Francisco Superior Court. Patricia married her Marine Corps husband, Paul, in 1950, and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. She is survived by husband, Paul; daughter, Gloria Vollmers of Old Town; son, Paul Lucey of Honolulu; and three grandchildren, Julia and Ellen Vollmers and Jasmine Lucey.
