MANSET – Edwin A. Reed, 67, lost his battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at his home. He was born June 13, 1942, at Seal Cove. He was a graduate of Pemetic High School, Class of 1960. Edwin is survived by his wife, Beth (Goodwin) Reed; four children: son, Daniel Reed and wife, Pam, of Bass Harbor and granddaughters, Jordan and Jasmine; daughter, Ronda Damon and husband, Mike, of Lamoine and granddaughter, Whitney and grandson, Matthew; daughter, Lisa Bowden and husband, Peter, of Orland and grandsons, Jesse, Dylan and Dustin; and son, Jeff and wife, Andrea, of Southwest Harbor and grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Zach, Alexis and Gavin; two great-grandsons, Mason and Kane; and a great-grandson due any day and another baby due in May.
