EASTPORT – Flossie M. Jollotta, 78, passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. Flossie was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Plantation 14, daughter of the late Seymoure and Elma (Brewster) Harris. She married Aubrey R. Jollotta, Oct. 23, 1965, in Eastport. Flossie was employed for 44 years with Guilford Industries, where she worked on the Model K. She enjoyed traveling and family gatherings. In addition to her parents, Flossie was predeceased by her husband of more than 42 years, Aubrey Jollotta; and two brothers, Vance Harris, and Burrill Harris and his wife, Elaine. Surviving are her four children, James Jollotta of Winslow, Barbara Pulk of Pembroke, Dale Jollotta and his wife, Patricia, of Connecticut, and David Jollotta and his companion, Virginia Doucette, of Eastport; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a special sister-in-law, Beverly Jollotta of Sanford; her nephew, Larry Harris and his wife, Cindy, of Orono; and her niece, Beverly Harris. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Mays Funeral Home – Flagg Chapel, 72 High St., Eastport, where a celebration of Flossie’s life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday.
