PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE HOWARD MOUNTAIN/MILLER MOUNTAIN Air Force Radar Tracking Station (AFRTS) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) is holding a public meeting to discuss the Decision Document and the proposed remedial action at the former AFRTS in Machiasport, ME. Representatives of the ACOE and Maine Department of Environmental Protection will provide information concerning the status of the project, outline the requirements needing to be met to investigate a water supply alternative and to update attendees on the plan forward. Project reports and information can be viewed at the Administrative Record located at the Machiasport Town Hall. The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A brief ACOE presentation will be followed by discussion and questions.
