OLD TOWN – Rose Field, 49, passed away Nov. 22, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 26, 1960, the daughter of Harold and Bernice (Ouellette) Field. Rose was a one-of-a-kind, amazing woman. She had a heart of gold, and was always there to help whoever needed it. She was especially close with her brother, Mike and his wife, Barbara, who had helped care and comfort her in her time of need. She spent 33-plus years with her husband, Michael, and had given him “two of the best boys in the world.” Along with her father, Rose is survived by her husband, Michael Hatt; her two sons, Michael Field and his significant other, Crissy, and John Hatt; her three brothers, John and his wife, Jane, of Florida, Harold Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Michael and his wife, Barbara; her four sisters, Donna Gilbert and her husband, Michael, Janice Ross and her significant other, Kevin Michaud, Sheila Tardiff and her husband, Michael, and Lisa Farrell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her close friend, Kathy Breckenridge. She was predeceased by her mother. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25.
