ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla., and OLD TOWN – Warren Burr, 68, passed away Nov. 20, 2009, in Dover, N.H. He was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Bangor, to Warren Burr and Harriet (Babkirk) Burr. He was employed by the city of Old Town Public Works Department for 27 years, retiring in 1994. Upon his retirement, he and his wife, Frances moved to Zephyrhills, Fla. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances (Cox) Burr; one son, William Burr and his fiancee, Kim Dennett, of New Market, N.H.; one daughter, Wanita and her husband, John Crocker, of Somersworth, N.H.; seven grandchildren, Heather, William Jr. and Dustin Burr of Norwich, Conn., Warren and Jacob Burr of New Market, N.H., John W. and Kelsey Crocker of Somersworth, N.H.; several cousins. At his request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a graveside service at a date to be announced in summer 2010 in Old Town.
