BANGOR – Jeremy Jason Bean, 34, left us to be with the Lord, Nov. 23, 2009. He was born March 3, 1975, in Bangor. He attended schools in Bradford and Hampden and was currently attending Eastern Maine Community College. Jeremy enjoyed sports, especially soccer, hunting and fishing. He loved carpentry and working on cars and had a gift for landscaping and gardening which he enjoyed doing for others. Jeremy had a heart for noble causes and was involved with many fundraising events such as, Breast Cancer Awareness and Bangor Humane Society. He also donated much of his time to helping others in need. Jeremy is survived by his father, Lester Bean Jr. and wife, Jane, of Hampden; his mother, Victoria Doucette and husband, Stephen, of Bucksport; and his paternal grandparents, Lester and Roberta Bean of Kenduskeag. Jeremy also leaves behind several siblings, Kevin Bean and wife, Tonya, of Brewer, Terry Bean of Hampden, Allysa Bean of Hampden, Kathryn Parker of Bangor, Jonathan Parker of Bangor, Meghan Bratcher of Navarre, Fla., Stephanie Doucette of Washington, D.C., and Erin Brown of Haughton, La.; several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. A special mention should be made to Jeremy’s special friend and mentor, Susan Davies of Veazie and to all those who supported him in life with their care, love and friendship. He cherished you all. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at The Neighborhood Church, 263 Texas Ave., Bangor, with Pastor Brian Haggerty officiating. Family and friends are invited for a time of gathering to be held at the church immediately after service. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
