DANFORTH and NEW LIMERICK – Leon “Pete” Caron, 63, went home to be with our Lord and Uncle Bungie, Nov. 30, 2009, at his home in New Limerick. He was born July 25, 1946, in Lincoln, the son of Leo and Virginia (Hanning) Caron. He is survived by his wife, Serena (Stinson) Caron; five daughters and their husbands, Ruth and Jack McEwen of Linneus, Carrie and Donnie Oliver of Danforth, Earlene and Howard Merrill of Orient, Laura and Bruce McEwen, and Judith and Bobby Crone, all of Danforth; 14 grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Tianna, Alan, D J, Wyatt, Madisyn, Orion, Xavier, Nadia, Allison, Brady, Chloe, and Isaac; a great-grandson, Aidan; five brothers, Jeff, Terry, Gerry, Ollie and Ronnie; two sisters, Nancy and Pam; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters and a brother, Cheryl, Janet, Sandra, Judy and Harold. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Gospel Assembly, Danforth, with Pastor Robert Root and Pastor Kevin Hatch officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Danforth Cemetery.
