LAMOINE – Mark R. Linscott, 51, died Dec. 5, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1958, in Blue Hill, the son of Richard and Evelyn (Hanscom) Linscott. He was a past member of Lamoine Fire Department. He enjoyed being a marine mechanic, handy man, cooking, his dogs, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mark was proud of the home he built for his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his wife of six and one half years, Teri of Lamoine; two children, Lauren and Nicole Linscott, both of Gorham and their mother, Teri Weiss; two stepchildren, Mathew Alley and his wife, Jessica, of Florida and Melissa Alley of Lamoine; four grandchildren, Alexander Thompson, Christopher Cobb, Hailey and Tyler Alley; his mother, Evelyn Linscott of Lamoine; one brother, Jeff Linscott and his wife, Pam, of Gouldsboro; a niece, Kelsey Linscott; several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth. Interment will be at Brooklin Cemetery, Brooklin.
