WINTERPORT – Marcia (Cunningham) Engstrom, 66, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at home with Terri, Cassie; and her dogs, Fred and Coco, by her side, just two short weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. Marcia was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Belfast, daughter of the late Merlin and Nellie (Crooker) Cunningham. Marcia moved to Somers, Conn., in the early 1960s where she raised her daughter. She worked at Milton Bradley for more than 30 years, where she made many true friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and crocheting. She retired in 1998 to move back to Maine to be close to her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Mason of Somers, Conn.; three grandchildren, Cassie Cole of Winterport, Nicole and Michelle Mason of Somers, Conn.; two great-grandkids, April and Isabella, which G.G loved their adventures together; eight siblings, Dianna Moore, Vicki Brown, Junior, Skip, Steven, Ronnie, Jeff and Andy Cunningham. A special thanks to her dear friends, Debbie Cote, Shirley Shappy and Jerry Moore. At Marcia’s request, there will be no services.
