BUCKSPORT – Edward Nye Gifford, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at a Belfast hospital. He was born March 1, 1935, in Bangor. In lieu of a funeral, a graveside gathering will be held in the spring at Edward’s request. A complete obituary will be published in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bucksport.
