MILLINOCKET – George M. McCluskey, 66, died unexpectedly Dec. 22, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 6, 1943, Millinocket, the son of Joseph E. McCluskey and Margaret F. (Smart) McCluskey. George will be most remembered by his time spent in Grindstone Township, and his passion for motorcycles and all things related. He rode and fixed motorcycles for many years, and made many life-long relationships along the way with those that shared his philosophy and even with those who did not. He was a retiree of Great Northern Paper Co. He is survived by two sons, Michael George McCluskey and his wife, Carol (Beaulieu), during his life with Bernie (Marquis) Hallett, and Christopher Paul DiCentes and his wife, Molly (Higgins) and their two sons, Jackson and Trevor, during his life with Marlene (DiCentes) Finson, and her daughter, Lula (Finson) Arnold. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Jane Totten and her husband, Chris and their two daughters, Bethany and Jessica. George will also be sadly missed by Jed McCluskey, Mida Ballard, Anne Evans, Brenda Preble, Randy and Robin Sweet, Gene Johnston, Jerry Lyons, Dave Levesque; and many others he met along his journey. There will be a celebration of George’s life this spring in Grindstone for his friends and family.
