FRANKFORT – Jack McKay Sr., 73, beloved husband of Nancy E. McKay, passed away Jan. 3, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born Dec. 29, 1936, in Monroe, the son of Eleanor Orcutt. Jack was an industrious man working for himself most of his life. He owned trucks and a paving company, was a mechanic, worked in the woods and was road commissioner for the town of Frankfort for many years. He leaves his children a legacy of hard work, integrity and love of family. Jack will be remembered as a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy E. (Cole) McKay; his children, Susan Seger and Robert, Jack McKay Jr. and wife, Cindy, Richard McKay and wife, Jeannie, Timothy McKay and wife, Tracey, Anthony McKay and wife, Samantha, and Terry Ripley and wife, Lisa; two sisters, Betty Dyer and husband, Richard, and Beverly Norton; two brothers, Larry Orcutt and Edward Orcutt; 17 grandchildren, Gregory Coulter, Bruce Coulter, Bobby “Bugga” Seger, Jack McKay III, Jason Brasslett, Jen McKay, Danielle McCarthy, Dale Linscott, Adam McKay, Josh McKay, Kalie McKay, Nick Wilson, Travis Graves, Tabetha Dudley, Cassandra McKay, Rebecca Ripley and Jonathan Ripley; 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many wonderful friends.
