CLIFTON and FORT BENNING, Ga. – Kandra L. Gomm, 26, died unexpectedly Jan. 1, 2010, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 6, 1983, in Bangor, the daughter of Tammy Gray and David Paul. She was a graduate of Brewer High School. Kandra was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Surviving are her devoted and loving husband, Chad Gomm; precious daughter, Raven; mother and stepfather, Tammy and Dennis; father and stepmother, David and Kelley; special nephew, Logan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and Steve Gomm; sister-in-law, Emily; siblings, David, Joann, Dakotah, Sararose, Farrin, Lydia and Autumn; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Heidi; and her maternal grandparents, Pappy and Grammie Peabody. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Richard Dickinson, chaplain, Maine Air National Guard, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. until the time of service Sunday.
