GRAND ISLE – James E. Michaud, 67, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born Aug. 21, 1942, the son of Amarnthe and Antoinette (Vermettre) Michaud. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to Grand Isle Historical Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home.
